I have been consistently watching Arrested Development at least once a week for about 3 years now and i still fucking love the show. I seem to never tire of it. So here my top 3 episodes:
#3 “Forget Me Now” Season 3. This show introduces the joke of the analrapist, forget me nows, and the surrogate. We also get to see Wee Britain. So many laughs, and if your around late in the afternoon don’t forget about the Poppin’s. Greatest GOB quote “take a look at banner Michael”
#2 “Pier Pressure” Season 1. This episode introduces Jay Walter Weatherman, the one-armed lesson man (and thats why you always leave a note, thats why you dont yell). And Michael believes that George Michael might be turning to drugs. So Michael attempts to teach GM a lesson himself.
GOB Quote “my gut is telling me no, but my gut is also very hungry”+”Michael these guys are real dancers, they’ve never done any hot policing”
GOB “these guys are pros, they’re gonna push the tension to the last possible moment before they strip” Michael “they aren’t going to strip?” GOB “I told ‘em not to but i cant promise their instincts wont kick in”
#1 “The One Where they Build a House” Season 2. Michael comes up with a new business plan that involves building a new model home and holding a ribbon cutting ceremony. GOB finds his own “business model” (played by Mo Collins). It also introduces Ann and her love the Mayon-egg (pack of mayo+hard boiled egg in yr mouth at once). Nothing Creates the Illusion of Success like a Boat. This is I think the most politically charged episode. The whole thing is an allegory for the US involvement in Iraq. The mission accomplished banner, the house with no “infra-structure”, the way GOB’s Segway has the name plate President on it but the P falls off leaving only resident and showing the creators of the AD’s true feelings about GW. It ends with the house that is truely solid as a rock (a-rock, Iraq, get it, get it) falling apart.

It is my favorite show of all time, i just read on wikipedia (which i know to be the most reputable source online) that during the writer’s strike M. Hurwitz the shows creator might be working on a full length movie. I know its probably a complete long shot but it got my interest up enough to watch a few hours of episodes today.
